Apart from Easter, we have another reason to celebrate this week.
We've been featured in the U.K. magazine, Handmade. Yay!

Handmade is a new magazine featuring projects to make for the home.
There are some lovely items like the cute egg cozies on the cover, just right for Easter.

We are featured on page 46 in their "Website Watch", highlighting our laces & buttons.

We have quite a few laces, buttons, trims & edgings in the shop at the moment.
When you a minute, pop in and have a look.

When sourcing, we try to look for interesting & pretty designs particularly if they have a French feel, like the coloured trims appearing in the shop this week. 

There are endless ways to use laces & buttons  from clothing  to trimming items for the home...

I expect you have & found it's a great tool for finding beautiful images, ideas, information, & lots more. Did you know we are on Pinterest too? We are gradually increasing the number of boards pinned with lots of goodies...

 It's like having a never-ending lifestyle magazine to flick through, ooh-ing & arrh-ing over the lovely photos & occasionally tearing one out to keep, only to find someone has already gone through & done it for you! Putting all the images & information on a giant pin board to look through at your leisure. So no piles of torn out pages, just organised pins on boards, in a range of subjects so you can (hopefully), at a later date, find what you are looking for. It's great to see things you perhaps wouldn't ordinarily have seen. It leads us to discover new shops, websites & blogs & with that, new & interesting people.

 However, there is a but......it can become addictive & a time-waster, if you let it. The catch is, you think "I'll just have a quick peep", then you realise 2 hours have gone by! It's not really Pinterest's fault; perhaps just a little the people who post such lovely things to distract us!

 We use Pinterest & love it. This prompted us to connect our Facebook page to our Petit Pica Pinterest boards, making it simpler for people to see our stock, ideas & inspirations. Just click on the Pinterest icon & it will take you there. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy......

You will find also find links to our Facebook & Pinterest pages on the right of this blog so when you have mo, have a peek & maybe follow a board or two &, if you like what you see, please "like" us on Facebook.....

Although we love Pinterest, we still love magazines! Loving nothing better than to curl up with a magazine or two & a cup of tea, in a vintage tea-cup of course!
