Where has the last couple of weeks gone? Who would have thought a new puppy would take up soooo much of my time! More about that later....
These little embroidered pockets may have started life to hold a serviette for the school canteen or to store hankies. Today they can be given a new lease of life by using them to hold many other things. I have one to keep my crochet hooks in, Kelly uses hers to hold small pieces of jewelry. They are so useful & pretty too. What would you keep in yours?

You may remember a few weeks ago Kelly got a puppy called Peanut from our local rescue centre. He's now about four months old and getting big.
My family had also been thinking of getting a puppy for a long time, & then the rescue
centre received a litter of border collie cross puppies that had been left in a
dustbin. How could anyone do that?!
They were only about two weeks old & very poorly. Anyway, thanks to a foster carer, they are now healthy & old enough to be re-homed. So we
have an adorable addition to our family called Harley. We can't imagine life without him.
