Did you know that Petit Pica also breathe new life into old, tired furniture? We repair, paint & give a little shabby chic treatment. Et Voila! Ready to start their life in a new home....
We recently painted this cute little wardrobe. The moulding detail on the front & top is lovely. The handles & escutcheon are so pretty too. Inside there are brass hooks so it would make a great coat cupboard or a hanging rail could be added; perfect for a child's room. We're often are a little sad when an item is sold, we get quite attached coaxing them back into life.

We mostly use Annie Sloan chalk paints as they give a lovely flat finish & come in a lovely range of colours. The paint is so versatile too, by mixing the colours it's possible to extend the palette to achieve the perfect colour. It is able to be worked with sandpaper & waxes to give the desired shabby chic look.
This happy chap kept everyone entertained with local folk songs at a vide grenier last Sunday.
